Norfolk, VA — A new inflation report out today shows the consequences for Virginians as MAGA Jason Miyares sides with President Trump. According to the Washington Post, the inflation report shows “more evidence that President Donald Trump’s tariffs are starting to push up prices on everyday goods, as trade policy begins to hit consumers’ wallets.” In May, Miyares refused to join other attorneys general in challenging Trump’s reckless tariffs. Under Miyares’ watch, Virginia dropped from #1 to #4 in CNBC’s “America’s Top States for Business” – a direct result of how “federal job cuts disproportionately” impacted Virginia’s economy and workforce.
