Jones reports highest opening quarter of an election year for any downballot statewide candidate in Virginia history, and the highest cash-on-hand at this point in the cycle of any challenger for Attorney General

Norfolk, VA — Today, Jay Jones announced that he raised over $925,000 during the first quarter of 2025 and has built a war chest that boasts nearly $1.5 million cash on hand for his bid for Attorney General. Jones’ amount raised in the first quarter of the on-year is the most by any down ballot statewide candidate in Virginia history. Jones also boasts the most cash on hand for any challenger running for Attorney General at this point in the cycle in Virginia history. This brings Jones’ total cycle raised to over $1.8 million since launching his campaign.
