Jay Jones Raises $500,000 in Less Than 24 Hours Following AG Debate

Momentum builds as Virginians rally behind Jones after standout debate performance

Norfolk, VA – In less than 24 hours following the Virginia Attorney General Debate between Jay Jones and Trump-endorsed Jason Miyares, the Jones campaign announced it has raised $500,000 – a clear sign of momentum and enthusiasm in the final stretch to Election Day.

“Virginians are stepping up to join our campaign because the stakes of this election are clear: either MAGA Miyares lets Trump control Virginia, or we finally elect an Attorney General who puts Virginians first,” said Jones’ campaign manager Rachel Rothman. “In last night’s debate, Jason Miyares couldn’t defend the 50 times he’s failed to protect Virginians as Donald Trump has fired workers, raised costs, attacked abortion rights, and defunded our healthcare, schools, and law enforcement. Jay will never stop fighting for Virginians – and he’ll finally take Trump to court to deliver for them.

“With just 18 days left, our campaign is energized and focused. The enthusiasm we’re seeing across Virginia makes it clear: voters are ready to elect an Attorney General who will finally put them first.”
